Interim Superintendent of Schools:
A suspicious man on the grounds of Wall High School, 1630 Eighteenth Avenue, prompts investigation and notification.
On Wednesday, July 23rd around 5:30 p.m., a female observed the subject in the area of the football field.
On Monday, July 28th around 1:30 p.m., a female observed the subject in the area of the track.
During both incidents, no contact was made with the females. However, the subject made the females feel uncomfortable and left the area prior to patrols arrival.
The suspect is described as a white male, tan skin tone, approximately 25 to 35 years of age, 5’10” tall, with short black hair and a thin build.
He was last seen leaving the area on foot toward Highway 138.
Immediate notifications were made to both the police department as well as school officials.
Currently, the investigation remains active. The Wall Township Police Department will continue to work in conjunction with appropriate school officials to create a safer environment.

At the August 12, 2014 Special BOE Meeting, R-Pat Solutions, the Superintendent Search Firm, will provide the Board of Education with a list of Superintendent candidates for consideration for the position of Superintendent for Wall Township School District. This will be the first opportunity for the Board of Education to review the resumes of recommended candidates. As per the updated timeline, the Board of Education will also review the stakeholder survey results. All discussions regarding the candidates will occur in the Executive Session of the Board of Education.
